Our History

In August 1985 an advertisement was placed in the 'Kilmore Free Press'. A group of people interested in horses meet to discuss forming a riding club. On the 8th September 1985 a meeting was held and a committee was elected. The Kilmore and District Adult Riding Club was formed.

Early rallies were held on private properties. In January 1986 the first rally was held at the Kilmore Racecourse. In 1993 due to the large membership of the club the L. B. Davern Reserve became our new home. Our rallies are still held there through the drier months.
